Return Policy
At The Collectors Cabinet, we are committed to providing high-quality collectibles and ensuring our customers are fully satisfied. This Refunds & Returns Policy outlines your rights and our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which guarantees that products are of acceptable quality, match their description, and are fit for purpose.
All returns must be initiated within 7 days of the arrival of the order by the recipient. We cannot guarantee acceptance of a return after this timeframe.
1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Under the ACL, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if a product you purchase:
- Is faulty or defective;
- Is significantly different from its
- description or sample;
- Isn’t of acceptable quality.
- Doesn’t do what we said it would do.
2. Change of Mind Returns
As per Australian consumer law, refunds on change of mind are at the discretion of The Collectors Cabinet. All sales are final and refunds may not be given if you change your mind after purchase, this includes changes in your personal circumstances.
3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of receiving the item.
We will arrange for:
- A refund: or
- Replacement of the item
If the incorrect item is sent please contact us to arrange for it be returned. It must be sealed and/or in the same condition that you received it on return. We will then exchange it for the correct item or a full refund will be provided if that item is no longer available.
We may require photos of the product and packaging to assist with your claim.
On the very rare occasion that an item is damaged by Australia post please provide photo evidence as soon as possible and we can initiate a return process and provide an appropriate refund. Do not attempt to open any damaged parcel as this could impact a return and refund claim.
4. Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed via the original method of payment:
- Refunds processed back to the card used at purchase.
- Refunds returned to your PayPal account.
Refunds may take 3–10 business days, depending on your financial institution.

Any returned item must be returned as-is. On the very rare occasion that an item is damaged by Australia post please provide photo evidence as soon as possible and we can initiate a return process and provide an appropriate refund. 6. Cancellations
Cancellations are only provided on the basis that we have not shipped your order.
Please note that order cancellations may incur a 10% restocking fee to cover processing and handling costs involved in a cancellation.
